INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g self-raising flour
  • 450 g sugar
  • 250 g butter
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 vanillin
  • 1 small orange, zest only
  • 290 ml fresh milk
  • 5 tbs cocoa powder

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a mixer, beat the butter and sugar together until fluffy and add the eggs 1 at a time.
  2. Then add the vanillin, zest, flour and 250 ml milk and mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture into 2 equal parts. Place a piece of baking paper in the loaf pan and add half the butter. Add the cocoa powder to the other half and mix, adding the rest of the milk.
  4. Add the chocolate butter to the loaf pan and wind a knife around the mixture to create waves.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 1 hr.
