Grilled lamb chops

  • 1 kg. chops

For the marinade

  • 1/3 of a rosemary bunch
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup white wine
  • salt
  • freshly ground pepper

Grilled lamb chops


Delicious grilled lamb chops are always a favourite with children and adults. In this recipe, rosemary adds a distinctive flavour and aroma. Alternatively, use lamb steaks.


In a bowl mix the marinade ingredients. Rinse and pat dry the chops, and put them in the marinade bowl. Drain marinade and place chops on a tray and into the oven. Bake for 15-25 minutes at 180ºC (depending on the thickness of the meat) until brown on both sides.

Serve hot with barbeque sauce and potato chips. Alternatively, you can substitute rosemary with fresh thyme.
